We do not sell or share anyone’s data for any reason. Furthermore, we collect as little data as possible from our users upon setup. We do not want even a full name. We are committed to making sure everyone’s information is secure and never shared to anyone, and your anonymity is respected and protected.
Location services is only used when someone checks into a meeting to verify they did in fact attend that meeting. This can be turned off of course, but tracking your meeting attendance will be disabled and you will not be able to achieve medallions for that activity.

The founders of the Recover App, being in recovery themselves, will always make sure these 12-step based tools to are free. We will never charge for the meeting guide, the prayer and meditation tools, sober calculator, and even some of the tools that are still in development. We hope to find sponsors that align with our vision and mission to help shoulder the cost of development and maintaining this application, and we have built in some tools for recovery residences and treatment centers that are billed. But the 12-stepper, will always have access to these tools for free.
